Easy Access to Orlando and Tampa

Lake Rosalie is located in Polk County, Florida. The lake is only 50 miles from Kissimmee and 75 miles from Orlando and Disney World.

Convenient to tourist attractions but away from the busy streets, the City of Lake Wales is only 13 miles away where visitors can easily access golf courses, shopping centers and restaurants.

Nature-Made Beauty

Lake Rosalie gains waters from Lake Weohyakapka and is only separated by a state park from Lake Kissimmee.

The body of water covers 4,530 acres, with a maximum depth of 61 feet and an average of 15 feet.

Popular fish found in this lake include largemouth bass, gar, pickerel and white catfish.

Camping, Pontooning, Fishing

Pontooning, kayaking and canoeing are enjoyed on the lake by visitors. However, water skiing and jet skis are not permitted and swimming is not encouraged due to alligators.

On the northwest side of the lake resides David Allen Broussard Catfish Creek State Park. This park features six miles of hiking trails and excellent wildlife viewing opportunities.

Lake Kissimmee State Park is located on the east side of the lake and offers horseback rides, a playground, campgrounds and many amenities that are family-friendly.

Just minutes away in the City of Lake Wales, other exciting activities include the Florida Skydiving Center, an opportunity to take a sky dive of more than 18,000 feet from a plane and Fiddlers Ridge Farms & Winery, a chance to live a day in the life of a winery and have a wine tasting experience.
